The origin
Frajule was founded in 2023, after Elke had already completed complex commissioned work for knitwear designers and repeatedly developed her own designs as a student. Our drive is the desire to make art wearable and tangible on the body every day.
We started by searching for truly natural, high-quality fibers and exploring their behavior during processing. It was a year of visions, experimentation, and laying the foundation for everything that followed.

2024: We opened our studio digitally. Our first works became visible.
In Florence - at the Pitti Filati - new talks began about material, quality and the future.

In Paris in 2025, we took a close look. Not to show off – but to understand.
We have decided what we do not want to be.
And bravely continued to shape what makes us who we are.
Own rhythm
We deliberately choose a different rhythm. No rapid changes. No constant novelty.
Form takes time. Material requires concentration.
