FRAJULE
The people in the studio
FRAJULE is created through the interplay of craftsmanship, attitude, and generation.
Three perspectives, one shared design language.
Nature, body and process form the core of our work.
FRAJULE is run by two sisters together with their daughter and niece.

Ely
Ely – Development and Responsibility
Ely develops her works starting from a sketch or a clear vision. Sometimes there is also a technical plan. But during the working process itself, the form becomes more precise. Proportions, accentuations, color effects, and transitions develop through working with the material. The construction is oriented towards the body—and at the same time remains open to the direction that emerges in the process. In this way, her distinctive style becomes more refined. The work gains clarity as it comes into being. With each decision, her relationship to the piece grows.
Only natural materials are used, which are durable on the skin, in everyday life, and for years to come. They remain part of a living system and allow for further development.
Ely has worked as a mediator and executive coach for many years. Her work revolves around attitude, clarity, and development – also in her studio.
Even as a teenager, she knitted for exclusive shops to finance her career. Drawing and form studies accompanied her from the very beginning.
FRAJULE combines both: analytical precision and artisanal intuition.

Julie
Perception & Image
Julie translates the works into images and spaces.
She develops FRAJULE's visual language as a precise observation of material, body, and movement.
Her work shows how a form changes when worn and how it affects the space.
In addition to the visual work, texts are created that explain the working methods, materials, and decisions.
Her images convey what the works are about – without explaining them.

Heike
Reflection & Technology
Heike accompanies the studio as a reflective discussion partner in the development process.
Through collaborative exchange, constructive decisions are reviewed, proportions are questioned, and structural solutions are further developed. Their technical perspective brings clarity to the structure and execution of the work.
Our DNA

Naturally
FRAJULE works with pure natural yarns from selected countries of origin and spinning mills that we trust in terms of ecological and humanistic responsibility and quality.

Unmistakable
Our works are sculptural knitted compositions with a clear signature – each result carries its own story, its own lines and its own intensity.

Artistic
FRAJULE conceives of knitwear as "Visions to Wear": artistic, profound and created with great dedication - as a companion for decades and as art that accompanies everyday life.

The idea
The idea for Frajule was born in 2023. That year marked the beginning of everything: initial design sketches, the search for suitable natural yarns and experienced knitters, the setup of the shop, and the development of our brand identity. It was a year of visions, experimentation, and laying the foundation for everything that followed.

The step outside
In 2024, the Frajule shop officially launched and our first products were released. We also traveled to Pitti Filati in Florence to gain new insights, discover exciting materials, and further refine our creative direction. A year full of inspiration, growth, and the beginning of our public journey.

Further development & new horizons
In 2025, we will further refine our manufacturing, optimize processes, and strengthen the craftsmanship of our pieces. We also visited Tranoï Femme in Paris – an inspiring step that broadened our creative vision and provided new impetus for future collections.
