Own rhythm

OWN RHYTHM

Every trace is created by movement.
It remains visible for a moment, becomes part of a larger area, and disappears again. What remains is the impression of a direction.

Even a studio develops its own rhythm. Form emerges through repetition, continuation, and testing. Material reacts to hand and time. Decisions become clear in the process.

An idea is sketched, modified, and translated into practice. The construction grows step by step. Yarn behaves differently in the work than in the imagination. Only in the doing does it become clear what truly holds.

Basic attitude

The studio is a place where craftsmanship and thought intertwine. Every piece arises from an attention to structure, proportion, and surface.

Natural fibers carry their origin within them. They react to body heat, movement, and duration. These properties are incorporated into every design decision. Time is not an add-on, but an integral part of the development process.

Rhythm here doesn't mean speed, but recurrence. A repeated checking. A continuation. A clarification.

Expression of freedom

Freedom arises from this inner compass.
Freedom of thought, because form may remain open.
Freedom in action, because development is given space.
Freedom in wearing, because body and material enter into a relationship.

A work of art unfolds its relevance in everyday life. There, construction merges with life.
